The Boston bomber is being questioned in the hospital. Law enforcement sources say he is awake and responding sporadically in writing to questions. They are asking about other cell members and other unexploded bombs.

2. Mass. to Observe Moment of Silence Today
A week of the Boston Marathon bombings, Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick is asking residents to observe a moment of silence this afternoon at 2:50 p.m., the time the first of the two bombs went off.

3. Serbian Government Approves Deal With Kosovo
The Serbian government has unanimously approved a potentially landmark agreement to normalize relations with Kosovo that could end years of tension and fighting.

4. Pro Soccer Player Bites Opponent in the Arm
Soccer striker Luis Suarez, who plays for Liverpool in the English Premier League, has issued an apology after biting the arm of Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic during a Sunday match. Writing on his Twitter account, Suarez called his behavior "inexcusable."
