The Supreme Court is set to hand down decisions today in two cases concerning gay marriage: The Defense of Marriage Act, which doesn't grant gay married couples federal benefits; and California's Proposition 8, which bans gay marriage in that state.

2. Putin Confirms Snowden Is in Russia
Russian President Vladimir Putin confirmed that Edward Snowden is in a Moscow airport, but said he is a "free person" and will not be stopped from leaving the country by Russian authorities despite warnings from the U.S. government that the 30-year-old should be handed over.
