San Diego Mayor Bob Filner reached a tentative deal in the sexual harassment lawsuit filed against him. The details were not made public.

3. Woman Bitten by Shark Dies

Jana Lutteropp, the German tourist whose arm was bitten off by a shark while vacationing in Hawaii, has died.
