1. College Student Allegedly Caught on Camera Poisoning Roommates' Food

A University of South Carolina student is facing felony charges and possible jail time after allegedly being caught on camera spitting and pouring chemicals into her two roommates’ food in early February, police said.

Police say Hayley King, 22, can be seen in the video taken by her roommates Feb. 4 spitting into multiple containers of food and pouring Windex into the food in the apartment they shared off campus, according to a Columbia Police Department incident report.

King’s two roommates informed authorities they had set up secret cameras in their shared apartment because they were afraid of what King might do following a string of multiple altercations, which are not detailed in the police report. The two roommates had tried to get King to move out because of the previous altercations, but she refused, the incident report states.

2. Garland Shooting Suspect Elton Simpson's Father Says Son 'Made a Bad Choice'

The father of one of the suspected gunmen in the Garland, Texas, shooting told ABC News that his son "made a bad choice."

"We are Americans and we believe in America," Dunston Simpson said. "What my son did reflects very badly on my family."

Simpson's son, Elton, was identified to ABC News by a senior FBI official as one of the suspects in Sunday's failed attack on a Texas community center that was hosting an event displaying cartoons of the Prophet Mohammad. Elton Simpson and another man were killed by a police officer after they opened fire on the officer and a security guard, local police said.

3. Air Force One All-Access Pass: Secrets of the Iconic Presidential Aircraft

Air Force One is one of the most iconic symbols of the American presidency. But as a flying monument tasked with transporting the commander-in-chief, it is also one of the most vulnerable targets.

“Every movie, they go after Air Force One,” co-pilot Lt. Col. Tom O'Boyle joked with ABC News’ Chief White House Correspondent Jonathan Karl during an interview in the rarely-seen cockpit of Air Force One. “Whether it's a TV show or it's 'Iron Man,' they're always trying to blow up Air Force One, which is a little concern to me because this is my day-to-day job, but in the real world he is very well protected."

The secrets of the recognizable blue-and-white Boeing 747 plane -- heavily modified by the military to be strong enough to function as an airborne bunker for the nation’s commander-in-chief while also providing the ultimate comforts fit for the traveling White House -- are closely guarded by a specially trained Air Force unit tasked with its operation and protection.

4. Ryan Gosling Eats His Cereal and Honors a Filmmaker

Ryan Gosling is finally having that bowl of cereal.

A few years ago, Scottish filmmaker Ryan McHenry started creating Vine videos showing him holding a spoon of cereal in front of a TV screen featuring Gosling acting in some of his iconic roles. As Gosling recoiled or moved his hand on the screen, McHenry adjusted the spoon as though the two actions – McHenry’s spoonfuls and Gosling’s disinterest – were happening in the same moment.

5. Beyonce Shuts Down the Met Gala in Peekaboo Gown

Rihanna shut down the Met Gala's red carpet in a regal yellow coat. And then came Bey.

Dressed lavishly by Chinese designer Guo Pei, Rihanna clutched her fur-trim frock closed and dragged a mammoth train up the grand staircase Monday during one of fashion's biggest nights of the year.
