It's Halloween day, and a full night of trick or treating is just a few hours away.

Are you ready with costumes for your children? If you've left this detail until the last minute, it's not too late. "Good Morning America" has a few ideas for you.

As to what's turning heads in the Halloween costume industry, take a look at what's hot for the under-12 set.

And we haven't forgotten the four-legged contingent. We've got Fido's costume ideas covered, too.

Popular Costumes for Kids

Superheroes. Superheroes are red-hot right now. Luca appeared as a pint-size, but mighty, Green Lantern.

Royalty. The royal wedding in Britain was watched by millions of people across the world. Your children can be royals for a day. Model Saoirse channeled a far younger Kate Middleton in a dress by Luna Belle Boutique, while Roman was little Prince William in a Prince charming costume from Disney.

As seen on TV. ABC's hot new show this year is "Pan Am." Model Ava is dressed as a 1960s flight attendant, while Zachary is decked out as a pilot.

Movie characters. Kids are dressing up as some of the big screen's biggest characters. This morning, Isabella appeared as Smurfette from the hit movie, "The Smurfs," while and Hudson was a Transformer from "Transformers: Dark of the Moon." You can get the looks at Target.

Hot Dog! Trendy Duds for Fido

Critters! What could be more fun than man's best (animal) friend dressed up as another critter? This morning on "GMA," Charlie appeared as a chimpanzee, while Ellie was dressed as a panda bear. Animal Planet has a wide array of Halloween costumes for your furry friends.

Dogs can be superheroes, too! Floppy proved it by stepping out as Superman.

Hats off to you! Beatrice the English bulldog donned the same hat that Princess Beatrice famously wore to the wedding of Britain's Kate Middleton and Prince William.

Ballerina Pooch! Melia pranced on all fours in a tutu that transformed her into a ballerina from "Black Swan." You can get the tutu for your four-legged dancer at Madisons Fifth Avenue.
