Royal Wedding: What's Your Reaction to Prince William's Engagement?

Nov. 16, 2010— -- It has been anticipated for years, but Britain's Prince William and longtime girlfriend Kate Middleton made it official to the public today: They are engaged to be married.

Prince William, 28, popped the question while they vacationed in Kenya last month, according to royal officials. The wedding is planned for next spring or summer in London.

Queen Elizabeth is said to be "absolutely delighted" for her grandson and future bride, according to Buckingham Palace, and so too are the British people. The royal family posted the news on their Facebook page this morning, and within half an hour, more than 1,400 people "liked" the news.
