Transcript for Possible Images of Hamas Rockets Launched From School
Another image from overseas from Ukraine, the first pictures of families arriving at the crash site where the Malaysia jet line struck down. Two heart broken parents risk the danger zone to pay tribute to their daughter who was a passenger on the plane. Sitting together on a piece of the wreckage and leaving flowers behind when they said goodbye. A new 24 hour cease fire does not appear to be holding on the ground there. And Israel defending against charges it struck that un school where families were seeking refuge. ABC reporting in from the region again tonight. Reporter: Cease fire. More of a question than a fact on the ground today. First hamas rejected Israel's olive branch firing rockets in response prompting this response from Israel. Part of which whizzed right over our heads. Finally hamas did agree to the cease fire. We waited for the shelling to stop before taking a closer look. Turns out the target was this building which we're told is a police academy run by hamas. Over the course of the afternoon there have been several breaks in the cease fire and always this sound. Give a listen. Those are Israeli drones keeping a watchful eye. Today the military released footage from the eye in the sky reporting to show rockets fired today from a school. The images are edited and impossible to verify. But potentially significant. Israel has repeatedly accused hamas of endangering civilians by launching attacks from crowded areas. One of the explanations given for last Thursday's attack on a school. But today released this video which shows that incident in real time. They say it shows an Israeli mortar landing in the school courtyard but only when it was empty. Impossible to know what we're seeing in that video or even when it was filmed. It doesn't explain the blood we saw in the courtyard or the casualties in the hospital. Israel insists it is not responsible. Who is?
