— -- An 11-year-old Shiba Inu with a seemingly perpetual smile is stealing the Internet’s heart.

The dog, named Cinnamon, belongs to New York City residents Ashley Kroop and Andrew Bua, who both work in the entertainment field.

“She’s super friendly and super affectionate,” Kroop told ABC News. “She’s the best dog I’ve ever known.”

Kroop’s fiancé, Bua, has owned Cinnamon since she was a puppy but it was Kroop who made the dog an Internet star with her own Instagram account.

“When she first started living with me I thought she was the cutest dog and always had her smile on and it just seemed like a natural fit for the world to see her smile,” said Kroop.

Kroop says that Cinnamon’s smiling expression is not a common Shiba Inu trait but rather what happens when the 30-pound dog starts panting.

“It’s really from her panting that makes it look like a smile,” Kroop said.

Cinnamon will have a happy occasion to show offer panting grin this summer when Kroop and Bua tie the knot.

“We’re getting married on July 4th and she’s going to be our flower girl,” Kroop said.
