Bruno Mars wins big at 2017 Soul Train Awards

Sza also won best new artist, and Solange won a songwriting award.

— -- Bruno Mars cleaned up at the 2017 Soul Train Awards Sunday night, nearly sweeping the six categories in which he was nominated.

Mars took home awards for best R&B/soul male artist, video of the year, album of the year, song of the year and best dance performance.

It was also a big night for Sza, who won for best new artist and best R&B/soul female artist.

Solange, who led all nominees with seven nods, only walked away with a single award -- the Ashford & Simpson songwriter's award which she shared with Troy L. John and Raphael Saadiq for their work on "Cranes in the Sky."
