According to a report from Variety, the Oscar winner has signed on to an upcoming biopic of the beloved 1950s TV comic and star of the classic sitcom "I Love Lucy."
Aaron Sorkin, the Emmy and Academy Award-winning screenwriter behind "The Social Network" among many other films and creator of TV's "The West Wing," is in talks to write the script, the magazine reported.
The film, produced by the comedian's children Lucie Arnaz and Desi Arnaz Jr., will focus on Ball's marriage to their father, Cuban bandleader Desi Arnaz, with whom Ball created and co-starred in "I Love Lucy."
