Gallo Eager to Cross Picket Line
April 30 -- Actor-director Vincent Gallo, who last got attention for dissing his Buffalo 66 leading lady, Christina Ricci, is at it again.
Apparently having learned nothing from the Elizabeth Hurley scandal, Gallo brags to the New York Post's Page Six that he'll be the first actor to cross the picket lines should the Screen Actors Guild go on strike this summer.
The 39-year-old Gallo dismisses the guild as "a self-serving union that has never had the best intentions of its membership in mind and hasn't used the power it has to its full capacity."

‘Self Serving Union’
The 39-year-old Gallo dismisses the guild as "a self-serving union that has never had the best intentions of its membership in mind and hasn't used the power it has to its full capacity."
These provocative comments were made from the set of Get Well Soon (which co-stars Courteney Cox), where Gallo is reportedly acting surly.
Gallo admits to acting badly when he found out that Lions Gate had acquired the film after he was already committed to it, since he claims they still owe him money for Buffalo 66.
"I chose not to read the script. I chose not to talk to anyone on the set," he says of his bad behavior. "I can't tell you how much I dislike Lions Gate films. They never paid me one penny of basic royalties."
"We definitely don't want to comment about this," a Lions Gate spokesman responded.
So why isn't Gallo filling out his director's resume? He says he wants to focus on music instead (he used to play in a band with the late artist Jean-Michel Basquiat, of all people), partly, no doubt, because "No other human being [is] involved in the process."
