Anna Nicole Smith's daughter Dannielynn celebrates 17th birthday

Anna Nicole Smith's daughter Dannielynn is celebrating her 17th birthday.
The teen received a special birthday tribute from her dad Larry Birkhead, who shared a heartfelt message for his daughter to Instagram on Thursday. The post, a video containing a collage of photos of Dannielynn throughout the years, is set to the song "I Wish" by Heather Headley.
"Happy 17th Birthday Dannielynn!" Birkhead wrote in the caption of the post. "I am so proud of you in each and every way. Wishing you the best day ever! You are funny, crazy smart, pretty and just about everything I could ever imagine."
He continued, "Your Mom would be so proud of you, I sure am."
"By the way, when you asked me if you could live in my basement forever. I said yes, but I didn't have the heart to tell you there aren't any basements in Florida," he concluded, sharing a laughing-crying emoji.
Dannielynn was just 5 months old when her mother, an actress and model, died in February 2007 at the age of 39.
