Lady Gaga shares new photo as Harley Quinn in 'Joker: Folie à Deux'
Filming on the sequel to 2019's "Joker" has wrapped.
Lady Gaga is giving fans a better look at her as Harley Quinn in "Joker: Folie à Deux."
The award-winning singer and actress shared a new photo of herself in character to Instagram on Wednesday, revealing that filming on the highly anticipated sequel to 2019's "Joker" had wrapped.
In the photo, Gaga rocks messy platinum hair and a black jacket, with her makeup and lipstick smeared on her face.
"That's a wrap ❤️🔥🎬🃏 X, Harleen," she captioned the post, referencing the character's real name, Dr. Harleen Quinzel.
The image was originally shared by the film's director, Todd Phillips, as he thanked the cast and crew for all their hard work.
"That's a wrap. Thanks to these two (+ the entire cast) and the BEST crew that the film industry has to offer. From top to bottom. Gonna crawl into a cave now (edit room) and put it all together," he wrote on Instagram.
In addition to sharing the photo of Gaga, Phillips also shared a photo of Joaquin Phoenix in makeup and costume as the film's titular character -- a role which won him the best actor Oscar in 2020.
"Joker: Folie à Deux" is set to release in theaters on Oct. 4, 2024.
