New photos of Prince Louis released for his 4th birthday
The photos were taken by his mother, Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge.
Prince Louis is turning 4!
In honor of Prince William and Kate's youngest child's birthday, which is April 23, the royal family shared new photographs of their son.
As is tradition, the photos were taken by Louis' mother, the Duchess of Cambridge.
The photos show Louis playing and smiling while wearing a gray sweater with different-colored stars across it.
Louis' fourth birthday comes two days after his great-grandmother Queen Elizabeth II celebrated her 96th birthday.
To mark their son's birthday last year, Prince William, 39, and Kate, 40, shared photos of Louis riding on his bike before his first day of nursery school.
The year prior, the photos showed Louis making colorful handprint art with paint on his hands.
For Louis' first birthday, the royal family released three photos, all of which showed the little prince smiling and wearing a sweater.
Louis is fifth in line to the British throne, behind his grandfather Prince Charles, 73, his father, William, and his older siblings, Prince George, 8, and Princess Charlotte, 6.
