Sia reveals that she's a grandmother
"My youngest son just had two babies!" she said.
It was a big surprise to fans when Sia revealed last month that she'd adopted two young men who were aging out of the foster care system.
They're both 19 now.
Well, get ready for another surprise: Sia's now a grandmother.
In a lengthy interview with Zane Lowe, Sia, who's 44, compared herself to a "grandma" because of the way that she worries, but then added, "My youngest son just had two babies! I'm a f---ing grandma!"
"They call me 'Nana,'" she added. "I'm trying to get them to call me 'lovey' -- like Kris [Jenner's grandchildren do]!"
Sia became extremely emotional while discussing her sons, and sobbed as she admitted, "I'm embarrassed that it took me to adopt two Black sons to really understand what they go through on a daily basis." She added that she's "very scared" for them.
The singer also shared that her sons have brought her a lot of joy.
"One recently came out, and he's just blossoming and is the light of my life," she said. "I love him so much. I'm just trying to do my best for them."
