With no trick-or-treating, mom gives daughters 31 days of Halloween makeup
Lily, 11, and Ellie, 6, are loving their daily looks.
A talented mom is giving her daughters 31 days of Halloween makeup looks.
Michelle Scrivner, a hair and makeup artist, from Minneapolis, Minnesota, has been transforming her girls, Lily, 11, and Ellie, 6, into characters like Edward Scissorhands, Ursula from "The Little Mermaid," the Bride of Frankenstein and more.
Due to her husband having asthma and being high-risk for contracting COVID-19, Scrivner said her family will not be trick-or-treating which is why she came up with this fun alternative.
"It's a great way for us to bond and share something special together," she told "Good Morning America." "A lot of [the characters], they don't know who they are because they're not old enough for the movie, but we like the makeup."
Lily and Ellie have been loving their daily looks which mom shares on Instagram.
On Halloween, Lily, Ellie and family will dress in Day of the Dead-themed group costumes.
Scrivner said the makeup takes one hour to complete. Upcoming looks include "Coraline" and Mavis from "Hotel Transylvania."
