— -- Ron Hazelton joined Good Morning America as Home Improvement Editor in September 1996. Ron reports regularly on a variety of topics related to the home including home improvement, maintenance, repair, health and safety.

A master craftsman and cabinet maker, Hazelton has become an authority in the "do-it-yourself" home improvement information field.

His newest television series, Ron Hazelton's HouseCalls, which he produces and hosts, has him traveling aross the country in a motor home working alongside families as they take on a wide variety of "weekend" projects. His state-of-the-art mobile workshop travels with him and is loaded with the latest tools to help him tackle just about any job.

Before HouseCalls, Ron was best known for hosting and co-producing a home improvement television series on the Home and Garden Television Network (HGTV). In addition, he has been featured as a home improvement expert on The Oprah Winfrey Show, Discovery Channel's Popular Mechanics and Lifetime Television's Our Home. Recently, Ron hosted the Modern Marvels History of Tools series for the History Channel.
