Ashley Greene on Going 'Rogue,' 'Missing Twilight'
"Rogue" airs Wednesdays on AT&T's Audience Network.
— -- Ashley Greene may be best known for her role as vampire Alice Cullen in the “Twilight” movies.
Now, the actress is playing a former NSA contractor in the TV thriller, “Rogue.”
“That’s different for me to be the new kid on the block,” Greene told Lara Spencer. “The show is basically...authority verses criminal activity—whether or not you would ‘go rogue’ depending on your situation.”
Greene, who appeared in all five “Twilight” films, said “there’s definitely some elements” she misses about the "Twilight" series.
“I think doing something of that scope and for such a long period of time, it became this big part of my life,” Greene said. “I think I’ll always miss it…these people became my family and the fans kind of did too."
Regarding her new series, she hopes fans will connect with her new character.
"I’ve certainly grown up a lot and it’s a completely different way to see me," Greene said. "Rather than being this kind of positive, uplifting character like Alice, Mia...she’s a little mysterious and devious at times, but very fun.”
