The Barcelona soccer star literally swallows racist taunt.

April 27, 2014— -- Say "nom" to racism.

Barcelona's Dani Alvez had the perfect response to someone throwing a banana at him as he went to take a corner in Sunday's match against Villarreal at the El Madrigal stadium in Spain.

Fans throwing bananas on the field is historically a gesture of racism and isn't uncommon during soccer matches, but when it happened to Alvez, the Brazilian native calmly picked up the piece of fruit, peeled it and stuffed most of it in his mouth before taking his kick.

Barcelona went on to beat Villareal 3-2.
