Former Dallas police officer Amber Guyger appeals conviction in wrong-apartment murder of Botham Jean

A Dallas street will be renamed in honor of Botham Jean, an unarmed Black man who was eating ice cream in his unlocked apartment when a Dallas police officer shot him.

Botham Jean was killed last year while he was watching television in his Dallas home.
