Guards at a prison in Arapiraca, Brazil were surprised to find that a cat had wandered into the facility's prison yard. More surprising still was that the cat was covered in duct tape and carrying a mobile phone, earphone, memory card, batteries, and a cell phone charge, in addition to a saw and drill.

Investigators do not know who is behind the plot to smuggle contraband via feline, so all 263 inmates at the prison are currently suspects.

A spokesperson for the prison astutely informed the O Estado de S. Paulo paper that, "It will be hard to discover who is responsible since the cat does not speak."

You can find video of the sneaky animal here, via Los Angeles' KTLA.

These are the various items taped to the cat.
