The ISAF's Full Statement
STATEMENT OF THE INTERNATIONAL SECURITY ASSISTANCE FORCE / U.S. FORCES AFGHANISTAN:
"The International Security Assistance Force and U.S. Forces Afghanistan take all allegations of inappropriate behavior by contractors and service members very seriously. As a result, the U.S. Army's Criminal Investigation Division is looking into the allegations. Because the investigation is on-going, we cannot comment substantively at this point on the merits of these allegations. Clearly, behavior such as that described by ABC News is not indicative of the outstanding work that thousands of contractors and service members perform every day in Afghanistan. We are confident that our personnel conduct themselves in ways that makes our nation proud and we should not allow the actions of a few, if determined to be true, to detract from that fact."
