— -- If you are a Taylor Swift fan, you know that her songs often deal with heartbreak and splits.

So, when a fan named Kasey reached out to Swift, 25, earlier this week on Tumblr, saying she was just dumped, the pop icon knew just what to say.

"Taylor Swift -- I hope you see this but we’ve been together for 4 months, he just texted me and told me he was done with me. Gave me no reason and kept trying to get me to do irrational things to get him back. Now he’s calling me names and I just feel crumbled," the fan wrote.

Swift soon wrote a string of five inspirational messages.

"He just ended it, just like that?" she said first. "Oh my God. I know. It's so devastating to come to terms with speaking of someone in past tense when you used to see them as your present and future. But think about what he said. It will take a while for you to get those words out of your head."

She continued, "Heartbreak is awful enough. The fact that you have to endure this kind of emotional abuse is so wrong. I know it's hard but I think it's time to utilize the 'block' feature on your phone. This is just damaging. Do you see him around? So don't give him the chance to say more damaging things."

Swift said there is "nothing wrong with avoiding people who hurt you."

Finally, Swift made her fan a playlist to get over this guy.

1. Charli XCX - "Stay Away"

2. Montgomery - "Not Around"

3. HAERTS - "Wings"

4. MisterWives - "Coffins"

5. Azure Ray - "Sleep"

6. Measure - "Begin Again"

E! News was the first to report Swift's gesture.

This isn't the first or the last time Swift has reached out to the fans, whom she loves and cares for so much. Last month, she even sent a fan a check for $1,989 to help with student loans.
