— -- This weekend, Amy Schumer showed she's more than just funny -- she's generous too.

Her rep confirmed to ABC News that the "Inside Amy Schumer" star recently left her server at Peter's Clam Bar in Island Park, New York, an extremely generous tip.

Just how generous?

As first reported by the New York Post, the funnywoman got into an "engaging, animated conversation" with her server, a college student named Ryan, who mentioned that he was working two jobs to pay for his education.

When Schumer's bill at the 75-year-old eatery arrived, it came to $49. She left Ryan a $500 tip. That's about 50 times the customary 20 percent tip.

Schumer is not the only celebrity big tipper. Check out some others:

Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift is known for her generosity, and when she visited a Philadelphia restaurant two years ago for a post-concert late-night dinner, she lived up to her reputation.

Swift not only posed for photos and gave the chef two tickets to her concert the following night, she left a $500 tip following her meal of chicken parmesan. According to Philadelphia food blog, Foobooz, the bill came to $800, which would make Swifty's tip a hefty 62.5 percent.

"From her graciousness upon arrival for us staying open, to the extremely generous tip before leaving, she was a pleasure to have dine with us!" the restaurant wrote on its Facebook page. "Probably the biggest celebrity to visit Ralph's in recent memory!"

Bill Murray

Also while dining in Philly, actor Bill Murray was cutting up with the staff of Square Peg and chatting up waitress Chau Le, chef Matt Levin relayed to Philly.com back in 2012.

When the funny guy offhandedly asked his waitress, "Do you want anything from the army-navy store," Le replied, "Yeah. Camo pants."

After the bill arrived, Murray left a generous tip, according to Levin. But that wasn't all.

Twenty minutes later, someone showed up at the restaurant with a bag from the local I Goldberg Army & Navy store. Inside was a pair of camo pants.

David Beckham

In 2008, David Beckham and his Los Angeles Galaxy teammates were celebrating their win over Hollywood United in a charity game at LA's Joxer Daly's Irish Pub.

Though Beckham only drank mineral water and the entire bill only came to $100, the soccer star left the waitress a $1000 tip, according to multiple reports at the time.

His spokesman was also quoted at the time as saying, "David certainly tips well, usually because of good service."

Jamie Foxx

Oscar winner Jamie Foxx also left a $1000 tip in 2006 after having drinks with fellow actors Dylan McDermott and Djimon Hounsou at Teddy's in Los Angeles, but he did it with a twist.

According to the New York Post, when the bill came, Foxx grabbed it and said, "Let me get the tip."

He then reached into his shoulder bag and pulled out a wad of bills. Slowly, he counted out $1,000 in singles and left the entire stack of bills to the waitstaff.
