Amy Schumer Kisses Tina Fey, Wins 2 Awards in 1 Night
Get all the details of the comedian's huge night -- and her big smooch.
— -- Some people ease into the week by ordering takeout and catching up on their favorite TV shows.
Amy Schumer marked Sunday night by winning two major awards -- a Peabody Award and a Critics' Choice Award -- and by kissing Tina Fey.
"[She] is killing it, as the agents like to say. Usually they are lying. But in this case, it is true. Amy is killing it. She is the biggest deal in comedy right now,” Fey told the crowd at the Peabody Awards, according to Vanity Fair. “I really wanted to come down here tonight, and in a Madonna kind of way try to, like, feed off of her youth and maybe suck her soul out in a very awkward, staged lesbian kiss. But when I pitched that idea to Amy's camp, they came back with such an immediate yes that it kind of grossed me out.”
Meanwhile, the "Inside Amy Schumer" star, 34, also tweeted that she was "crying" over her Critics' Choice Award win, though, obviously, she was not able to be at both ceremonies.
"When the first season of our show came out, it was you, the critics, whose writing made me realize, 'Wow, they heard [us]. They see us and understand,'" she wrote of the win. "I have been brought to tears of joy from your kind words... We are so proud."
