May 19, 2014 -- When "Bachelorette" producers asked Andi Dorfman to be the star of this season, she wasn't sure she was the best choice.
"I remember being like, 'I'm way too boring! You guys are gonna want somebody much more fun,'" she said on "Good Morning America."
However, with her family's blessing, the 27-year-old attorney finally agreed, and tonight, her season of "The Bachelorette" will premiere at 9 p.m. EST on ABC.

"I'm ready," she said. "I'm definitely ready -- finished filming, so I'm ready to put it out there for the world to see."
Though she stayed mum on her favorites this season, she did say that one of her suitors is a "pantspreneur," while another is an opera singer. But the best piece of advice she got about filming came from another important man in her life: Her dad.
"Right before I left [he] gave me last minute advice," she said. "He said, 'Pick the right one.'"
That process was difficult. Dorfman, who rejected Juan Pablo Galavis on last season of "The Bachelor," explained that it wasn't always easy handing out her roses.
Chris Harrison Shares Why 'Bachelorette' Andi Will Surprise You
"It's nice to kind of have a little control and know what I'm doing and be in the know more with everything that's going on, the dates, but it's tough to look people in the face, great guys, and say, 'I've got to send you home,'" she said. "That's really tough."
So who got the boot? Fans will have to wait to see, but in a sneak peek, one former "Bachelorette' contestant begs Chris Harrison for a chance to meet Dorfman. To see who he is, watch the video above!
