'Bachelor in Paradise' Recap: New Women Arrive, Ashley I. Makes a Bold Move With Jared

— -- Monday night's episode of "Bachelor in Paradise" marked the arrival of a few new cast members.

We were reintroduced to Chelsie Webster late in the previous episode. On the show, she asked out Nick Peterson, who was eager to end his relationship with Ashley Salter. The breakup left Ashley feeling upset; she told the cameras she'd felt deceived.

Chelsie and Nick became acquainted on an ocean cruise, but they lacked chemistry.

Mackenzie Deonigi, from Chris Soules’ season of "The Bachelor," joined the crew in Mexico and paired up with Justin Reich, who on Sunday night's episode went out with Amber James. Mackenzie and Justin took part in a Spanish ceremony led by a shaman that involved smoke and mud. It ended with the shaman telling them, "You're married."

Jaclyn Swartz, previously a contestant on Ben Flajnik’s season of "The Bachelor," showed up to paradise and had her sights set on Jared Haibon. Jared was interested in her, too, but Ashley Iaconneti -- who's had a crush on Jared all season -- had a trick up her sleeve.

Ashley I. obtained an overnight fantasy suite date card from host Chris Harrison and approached Jared with it. Jared agreed to the date, and Ashley I. implied to the cameras she was considering losing her virginity to him. That left us with a cliffhanger for the two-night season finale, which begins Sunday night on ABC.
