'The Bachelorette': JoJo Fletcher Dodges Engagement Questions
"I can't confirm or deny that," Fletcher said.
— -- Engaged or not engaged, that is the question.
JoJo Fletcher, the new Bachelorette, appeared on "Live with Kelly" on Monday morning, where she was grilled by hosts Kelly Ripa and Fred Savage.
"I can't confirm or deny that," she responded when asked if she was engaged at the moment.
After Ripa and Savage checked the tan lines on her finger, Fletcher added of the show, "I'm happy and I would do it again in a heartbeat."
When asked yet again if she left someone "at the altar," so to speak, Fletcher gave a very political answer that the show usually ends with one person having to say goodbye.
The conversation quickly turned to how Bachelor Ben Higgins told both her and his eventual choice that he loved them last season.
"That wasn't great," she said, but added that she now can understand how it would happen, being "in the driver's seat."
"I really did have a good experience the first time," she said. "Going through this, it makes so much more sense," she added of having multiple guys vying for her love.
"I don’t know if I would tell them that ... [but] I can definitely can see how it's possible," she said.
"The Bachelorette" premieres tonight at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.
