'The Bachelorette' Recap: Shawn B. Finds Out About Kaitlyn's Night With Nick

— -- On Monday night on ABC's "The Bachelorette," Kaitlyn Bristowe confessed to Shawn B. that she slept with Nick Viall -- and he didn't take the news too well.

Though Shawn remained committed to his relationship with Kaitlyn, he also couldn't get the Nick situation off his mind. He decided to confront Nick, accusing him of being manipulative and arrogant. The episode ended with a heated argument between the two that will resume next week.

Kaitlyn's adventures in Ireland continued in Killarney, where she had a one-on-one date with Ben H. They rowed a boat to Innisfallen Island. He suggested a game of hide-and-seek amid the ruins of Innisfallen Abbey as a way to cheer up Kaitlyn after she cut loose Chris "Cupcake" at the end of last week's episode.

Ben expressed concern that he was "unlovable," but Kaitlyn assured him that is not the case. Things then turned a bit awkward when he told Kaitlyn he'd love to join her in the fantasy suite so they can talk all night. She reacted by asking whether he's a virgin. Ben's answer: No.

Kaitlyn invited Nick, Shawn B. and Joe on the group date to Killarney National Park. In a private moment, Joe let Kaitlyn know that he loved her. Unfortunately, she didn't feel the same way about him, admitting that they're "not on the same page." She sent him home.

She returned to the other two men, telling Nick that she'd see him at the rose ceremony and asking Shawn to spend more time with her later on. When she reconnected with Shawn, she spilled the beans about having sex with Nick back in Dublin.

At first, Shawn was stunned, saying, "I don't even know what to think." He stepped out to collect himself, and when he rejoined Kaitlyn, he suggested that he wanted to look past the incident. "I can't be mad," he said.

But away from Kaitlyn, Shawn expressed disappointment, repeatedly referring to Nick as "the other guy."

Still having doubts, Shawn pulled Kaitlyn aside when she attempted to give him a rose at the rose ceremony. He asked her why she would do something that would put their romance in jeopardy. She stressed that while she went too far with Nick, she was there to explore relationships with more than one guy. She also said that telling Shawn he was "the one" earlier in the competition was a mistake.

Back at the ceremony, Shawn accepted the rose. Jared was eliminated, and was very gracious about it.

Kaitlyn's first overnight date was with Nick in Cork. They visited a church and later mingled with some locals over drinks. The two then went to an old jail, where Nick took jabs at Shawn.

Once the unpleasantness was over with, Kaitlyn invited Nick to the fantasy suite. Not surprisingly, he said yes. But after leaving the suite and parting ways with Kaitlyn, Shawn paid him a visit and made it clear that he doesn't like Nick.

As the credits rolled, the show provided an update on Britt Nilsson and Brady Toops. He was headed back to Nashville, so they were going to try to maintain a long-distance relationship.
