'Bachelorette' Star Emily Maynard Is Married
"He's given me such peace about everything. I'm so grateful," she said.
June 9, 2014 -- She's no longer a bachelorette!
"The Bachelorette" star Emily Maynard married automotive management consultant Tyler Johnson on Saturday, People reported. The two announced their engagement in January.
"God brought us together. He's given me such peace about everything," the former reality TV star, who is now going by Emily Johnson, told the magazine. I'm so grateful I met him."

The former single mother from North Carolina originally told 200 loved ones that they were coming to Sharon, South Carolina for an engagement party, when in reality, the 28-year-olds had been planning a secret wedding. Maynard wore a pink gown and cowboy boots; her maid of honor was her daughter Ricki, 8.
"It's just as much her day as it is mine because it's a big change for her," Maynard said of her little girl, who was featured on her season of "The Bachelorette." "She just adores Tyler and he is so good with her. He loves her as if she was his own daughter. It's been so great to see their relationship grow."
It's the happy ending that the reality TV star had always hoped for, but did not find on TV. After a failed engagement to "Bachelor" star Brad Womack, she got engaged to Jef Holm, but that too fell apart.
"The grace that my faith has given me to wipe that all away and not find worth in that and find it through God, Tyler has been a great example of that for me," she said. "He has truly lived out God's grace every day."
