— -- Beyoncé has been forced to postpone her concert at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, that had been scheduled for this Wednesday.
The show has been postponed until Oct. 7 "as a result of strict doctor’s orders for vocal rest," according to a statement posted on the stadium's website.
Tickets for the original date will be honored for the rescheduled performance.
Refunds will be available as of Wednesday at the point of purchase.
Beyoncé's Formation World Tour will resume this Saturday in St. Louis.
The singer celebrated her 35th birthday Sunday by attending her husband Jay Z's Made in America Festival in Philadelphia, where she spent time with former President Bill Clinton, who was promoting voter registration.
