Bobbi Kristina Brown Buried Next to Whitney Houston In New Jersey
The aspiring actress died last month at the age of 22.
— -- Bobbi Kristina Brown was laid to rest in Fairview Cemetery in Westfield, New Jersey on Monday afternoon, the Associated Press reported.
The 22-year-old was buried next to her mother, Whitney Houston.
According to the AP, the casket arrived at Newark Liberty International Airport earlier this morning and was transferred to Whigham Funeral Home, the same place that handled services for Houston in 2012. Brown's maternal grandmother, Cissy Houston, and Dionne Warwick were among those photographed at the funeral home earlier today.
The burial comes two days after Brown was memorialized at a funeral in Alpharetta, Georgia.
Brown died on July 26, almost five months after she was found unresponsive in a bathtub inside her Roswell, Georgia home. Her father, singer Bobby Brown, called her death "unimaginable."
“Krissy was and is an angel. I am completely numb at this time," he told ABC News the day after her death. "My family must find a way to live with her in spirit and honor her memory. Our loss is unimaginable. We thank everyone for the prayers for Krissy and our family as we mourn my baby girl."
Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding Brown's death, according to a representative for the Fulton County district attorney's office. The Fulton County medical examiner said that an initial portion of the autopsy did not show an obvious underlying cause of death, and additional laboratory tests are being conducted.
