Britney Spears tweeted that she is single again.

"Ahhhh the single life!" the "Piece of Me" singer wrote Thursday

Spears, 32, had been dating lawyer David Lucado since early last year, but rumors swirled this week that the two had split.

After her "single" post, she also posted an Instagram video about "having a s****y day..."

It's unclear whether that was related to the split.

Spears, who has been married twice, gushed about Lucado in December.

"I just love, he’s very passionate, he’s funny and he’s sexy,” she told DeGeneres last year. “I love him.”
