— -- Hours after being taken into custody in New York City Wednesday evening for an alleged second-degree assault, Busta Rhymes spoke out on Instagram about how he's doing.

"Thanks to everyone who helped expedite this evening for me," the rapper-producer, 43, wrote overnight. "I'm good and we're back to the grind. Heading 2 the studio 2 turn the bulls--- into GREATNESS. I'm super good."

Rhymes, whose birth name is Trevor Smith, was arrested after he "threw a bottle full of liquid at [his accuser],” according to the police complaint obtained by ABC News.

The alleged incident happened Wednesday night at Steel Gym in Lower Manhattan after the rapper had a dispute with a gym employee. "The worker was not seriously injured but pressed charges" after Rhymes threw a "cardboard Lean Body protein drink container at him," police said.

Rhymes was arrested, arraigned and released overnight without bail after entering a not-guilty plea.

“These charges are a bunch of bull,” defense attorney Scott Leemon told ABC News. “It’s another attempt of someone trying to take advantage of his celebrity status.”

The next court date for Rhymes is Nov. 6.
