Candace Cameron, Raven-Symone, Paula Faris and Michelle Collins Prepped for 'The View' Over Dinner
"Paula kind of shocked me with a couple questions," said Candace Cameron Bure.
— -- Joy Behar has returned to “The View” as a co-host, along with Candace Cameron Bure and Paula Faris.
They might just be getting started, but they're already pretty friendly: Before their first episode today, co-hosts Raven-Symoné and Michelle Collins enjoyed dinner their new colleagues, Cameron Bure and Faris.
"That was really great. That was the first time I really got to sit and relax and get to know them," Cameron Bure told ABC News. "It was really fun!"
The dinner, which took place in the back room of an L.A. restaurant, according to Collins ("Very 'Godfather'!"), was rosé-fueled and filled with light get-to-know you chatter about each other's families. However, Faris spiced things up at one point, Cameron Bure recalled, in a moment fit for a Hot Topics segment.
"Paula kind of shocked me with a couple questions she asked at the table which I'm not gonna repeat," the "Fuller House" star said with a laugh. "I was like, 'Whoa, Paula! Really? I gotta answer that?' because you know you read some someone right away -- if they're lying, they hesitate. And I was like, 'You're putting me on the spot!'"
Moderator Whoopi Goldberg and Behar, however, were not on-hand, as they were home in New York City at the time. However, Behar, who spoke with ABC News alongside Cameron Bure, invited her to dinner soon.
"We'll go do something," she said. "We'll go have Chinese food or something."
Raven-Symoné may want an invitation too. The actress, who dished that she has lunch with Collins regularly, said she can't wait to spend more time with her colleagues.
"I think as the season goes on, we'll be commuting together," she said.
