Courteney Cox Goes to Venice with New Boyfriend and Daughter

Feb. 20, 2014 -- Looks as if the most important person in the family apparently approves.

Courteney Cox, 49, was spotted this week on vacation in Italy with new boyfriend Johnny McDaid, 37, and her 9-year-old daughter Coco, who seemed taken with the actress's new beau.

The little girl hugged and held the Snow Patrol rocker's hand while the group enjoyed Venice.

It was rainy, but that didn't stop the new couple from taking a gondola ride.

McDaid and Cox were set up by mutual friend Ed Sheeran. He told OMG! Insider in December that "My housemate [Snow Patrol's Johnny McDaid] who I've lived with for a year, I introduced him to Courteney Cox. They started dating and [are] crazy about each other."

Coco is Cox's daughter from her marriage to David Arquette, which ended last year.

The "Friends" star told More magazine last month that she's happy for Arquette, who is expecting a new baby with his current girlfriend.

"When you love someone, you want them to be happy, even if it's not with you," she said.
