'Dancing With the Stars' Julianne Hough is Engaged to Brooks Laich

— -- "Dancing With the Stars" judge and former pro Julianne Hough is engaged.

The actress and dance pro has been dating hockey star Brooks Laich for almost two years now and she posted the big news to Instagram on Tuesday.

"We are overwhelmed with joy and excitement to share with you our recent engagement! #fiancé #love," she wrote, next to a picture of her jumping into his arms.

Last year, Hough, 27, opened up to ABC News about making it work with Laich while going on tour with her brother Derek.

Laich himself spoke to 106.7 The Fan shortly after the two got together and explained that actor Teddy Sears set them up.

"On set, apparently, he was talking with Julianne ... and then asked her if she'd been seeing anyone, and she said no or whatever, and I guess he was watching our hockey game at the time," Laich said. "I guess he just showed her the iPad and said, 'Well I've got a guy for you.'"
