'Dancing With the Stars' Pro Derek Hough Broke His Toe, Sprained His Ankle

The "Dancing With the Stars" pro broke a toe on his right foot and sprained his left ankle while rehearsing for the 10th Anniversary "Dancing With the Stars" TV special Monday night, his rep told ABC News.

"Derek will remain in Los Angeles this week to rehab his injuries," his rep said. "His understudy will be filling in for him for New York Spring Spectacular at Radio City Music Hall in New York."

At this point, it's unclear whether Hough, 29, will be able to perform next week on "Dancing With the Stars," his rep added.

Meanwhile, his partner, Nastia Liukin, will train with Sasha Farber.
