‘Dancing With the Stars’ Season 21: Pro Dancers and Celebrity Partner Pairings Revealed Live on ‘GMA’

— -- The new season of ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars” will feature popular pros paired with the newest season of celebrity contestants in a heated battle for bragging rights and the mirror ball trophy.
The partnerships were revealed live on “Good Morning America” Wednesday, with the pros and their partners appearing either live, via remote or in special video messages:

Tamar Braxton and Val Chmerkovskiy
Paula Deen and Louis Van Amstel
Nick Carter and Sharna Burgess
Alexa PenaVega and Mark Ballas
Carlos PenaVega and Witney Carson
Andy Grammer and Allison Holker
Bindi Irwin and Derek Hough
Victor Espinoza and Karina Smirnoff
Chaka Khan and Keo Motsepe
Hayes Grier and Emma Slater
Gary Busey and Anna Trebunskaya
Alek Skarlatos and Lindsay Arnold
Pro dancer and mirror ball champion Peta Murgatroyd had been slated to participate this season, but she was forced to withdraw due to an ankle injury that will require surgery. Murgatroyd was to have partnered Grammer.
Season 21 of “Dancing” premieres on Monday, Sept. 14 at 8 p.m. Eastern on ABC.
