'Dancing With the Stars' Season 21: Returning Pro Dancers Revealed
Derek Hough and Karina Smirnoff are among the returning pros for “DWTS."
— -- Season 21 of ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars” will see the return of popular pro dancers, including past mirror ball champions Derek Hough, Mark Ballas and Karina Smirnoff.
The upcoming season’s roster of pro dancers was revealed Wednesday on “Good Morning America.”
Smirnoff had been absent from the prior season’s show, which was won by Val Chmerkovskiy and celebrity partner Rumer Willis.
The new season premieres at 8 ET on Monday, Sept. 14, on ABC.
In addition to Hough, Ballas and Smirnoff, other pros who will appear on “Dancing”’s season 21 are Chmerkovskiy – the defending champion, Artem Chigvintsev, Allison Holker, Sharna Burgess, Peta Murgatroyd and Witney Carson.
The new season’s celebrity cast will be announced on Wednesday, Sept. 2, on "GMA."
“Dancing With the Stars” features stars and their pro partners doing choreographed dance routines. The performances are judged by Len Goodman, Julianne Hough, Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba.
The program is co-hosted by Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews.
