— -- We didn't see the classic skull uniform that only the Punisher wears so well, but "Daredevil" did give fans a look at Jon Bernthal's Frank Castle during New York Comic Con.

The assumption is Castle won't become Punisher until later in the season anyway, but in a season 2 teaser, we get a look at the former "Walking Dead" star becoming the vigilante Marvel fans know and love.

Ryan Penagos, executive editorial director at Marvel Digital, was live-tweeting the NYCC "Daredevil" panel and described what Netflix released in the clip.

"It was a pretty epic sizzle of #Daredevil season one and then a tease of season 2! Elektra! Frank Castle! DD costume! #MarvelNYCC," he wrote. "'You wanted grounded, you wanted dark. Here's Elektra. Here's Punisher.'" Marco Ramirez #Daredevil #MarvelNYCC."

Bernthal didn't have much to say in the clip, but "Beg!" can be heard and "Vindication. Your work is not yet finished." You also see him walking the halls of what looks like a hospital.

Fans loved the clip so much that they played it again. Season 2 hits Netflix in 2016.

Right after the "Daredevil" panel, "Jessica Jones," starring Krysten Ritter, came on the stage and the first episode was played.

The first episode revealed that "Matrix" star Carrie-Anne Moss is playing the Iron Fist, who in the books is played by a man, reports IGN.

The reactions on social media were very positive.

"Jessica Jones" hits Netflix on Nov. 20.
