April 15, 2014 — -- "Dancing with the Stars" pro Tony Dovolani wasn't too happy that he was portrayed as a jealous partner on Monday night's show.

During the portion of the show where they allow viewers to see rehearsals, Dovolani had an argument with partner NeNe Leakes. She left the rehearsal, saying, "Thank God we ain't married in real life. We'd be divorced."

Dovolani spoke with US Weekly, saying, "Apparently I was the villain."

"We had just both flown a red-eye to New York, we were both tired, the switch-up didn't do us any good," he told the magazine.

Leakes had danced with Derek Hough the week before during switch-up week and had come back excited to share what Hough had taught her.

"It put a bump in the road and we had a little tiff!" Dovolani said. "What couple doesn't? They chose to show ours and make a story out of it… and that's fine ... That was a week ago, so in some ways we'd already forgotten about it."

Leakes and Dovolani, who did a Cruella de Vil dance from "101 Dalmatians" for Disney night, got over the tiff and earned their best score of the short season -- a 36 out of 40.

"Sometime you think you want a divorce then you realize the folly of you ways and I tell you, you two are a match made in dance heaven," judge Len Goodman said.

Leakes and Dovolani embraced after the high scores.
