— -- "Flip or Flop" co-hosts Tarek and Christina El Moussa are grateful for their fans.
The HGTV stars, who announced their split last week, released a statement on their Facebook page Monday thanking their social media followers for their support.
They added that they will "continue to make our children our priority" as they move forward with the show.
The estranged couple share a 6-year-old daughter, Taylor, and a 1-year-old son, Brayden.
"We look forward to spending the Christmas season with family and want to wish a Merry Christmas and happy holidays to each and every one of you," their statement concluded. "May you all find peace and joy this holiday season."
The El Moussas said last week that they were separating after seven years of marriage. HGTV released a statement following news of the split.
“We admire and appreciate Tarek and Christina’s great work on 'Flip or Flop.' When it comes to matters related to their own family, we respect their privacy and honor any decision that works best for them and their children," the network said in a statement obtained by ABC News. "HGTV is currently airing episodes of 'Flip or Flop' and the series will continue production as scheduled.”
