Forbes Ranks the Highest-Paid TV Actresses in the World

— -- When it comes to pay, Sofia Vergara is head and shoulders above other TV actresses.

Forbes has ranked the "Modern Family" star as the world's highest-paid TV actress, having raked in $43 million, before management fees and taxes, in a one-year period ending in June.

The publication notes that most of the Colombian actress' income comes from endorsements and licensing deals, including one for Head and Shoulders shampoo.This is the fifth year in a row that Vergara has topped the Forbes list.

"The Big Bang Theory's" Kaley Cuoco ranks second in pay for the year, with $24.5 million, followed by "The Mindy Project's" Mindy Kaling, with $15 million.
