— -- "Surprise!!!!! We got married!" is what "The Nanny" star Fran Drescher said on Twitter with a picture of her new husband Shiva Ayyadurai.
Drescher married the scientist, who is widely credited with having invented email -- at their home and the bride wore Badgley Mischka, People magazine reported.

Drescher, 56, and Ayyadurai, 50, first stepped out together last October. People magazine added that the two first met when he gave a talk hosted by Deepak Chopra.
Ayyadurai was profiled in 2011 in Time magazine for being the first person to hold a copyright for “EMAIL” -- an electronic mail system he began building as a 14-year-old for the University of Medicine and Dentistry in Newark, N.J.
The former "Nanny" star is now featured in a TV Land series "Happily Divorced" about her split from ex-husband Peter Marc Jacobson in 1999. Maybe she should now change the name of the series to "Happily Married."
