This week, stars Kit Harington, who plays Jon Snow, and Emilia Clarke, who plays Daenyres Targaran, were spotted filming together in Spain.

Why is this a big deal? Because in six seasons the two characters have never met. At the end of last season, it was revealed that Snow was actually part Targaryen and that Daenerys, the Mother of Dragons, could actually be his aunt.

With few clues as to what's in store for season seven, the mere sighting of these two together has fans speculating on social media about whether they are joining forces or spoiling for a fight.

HBO, which airs the hit series, declined to comment to ABC News. It looks like fans will just have to wait and see what all this means when the show returns next spring.
