'Game of Thrones' star on that Jon Snow reveal: 'Ew!'
Major spoilers ahead.
— -- Major "Game of Thrones" spoilers ahead.
Sunday's "Game of Thrones" season 7 finale confirmed some huge Jon Snow news that was alluded to earlier: that he is not a bastard and is the son of the now dead Crown Prince Rhaegar Targaryen.
This not only makes him the rightful heir to the Iron Throne; it also makes him Daenerys' nephew, which is awkward, since the two finally got together in the finale. They are not aware of their familial connection — yet.
"Thrones" star Emilia Clarke spoke to Entertainment Weekly about the hookup and said what all other fans in the world are probably thinking: "Ew!"
Incest is nothing new to the hit HBO show, but Clarke said that her character's union with Snow made her want to "get the toothbrush."
"I've worked so hard, I don't want to share that throne," she added. "No. The throne's big enough for one dragon bum, and that's mine. That's it!"
She added, joking, "Doooooon't fall for him. Don't do it!"
Kit Harington also reacted to the news but in a more positive way.
"Usually you go into a movie and meet [your co-star] for the first time, and you develop that chemistry over that time. But if you've known somebody for seven years and shared this incredible journey in your own lives together … We're both kind of freaking out about it," he said.
He isn't sure it's going to be all puppies and roses.
"It could be them walking off into the sunset. It could be them killing each other," Harington said.
