George Lopez Opens Up About Canadian Casino Arrest
The comedian says he's quit drinking since the February incident.
March 13, 2014 — -- George Lopez couldn't help but poke fun at his arrest last month at a Canadian casino.
When Elle DeGeneres asked about what he's been up to, the "Saint George" star, 52, said: "Recently, I lifted myself off the casino floor."
Lopez was photographed last month sleeping on the floor of the casino, then taken into custody by police.
No charges were filed in the case.
"Apparently I'm a bigger Justin Bieber fan than I thought I was," the comedian joked to DeGeneres. "They always say, 'Whatever happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas,' but whatever happens in Canada, everybody knows."

Lopez said he was a "bit intoxicated" and that the authorities were quite polite when asking him to wake up.
He also joked that the police told him if his drunk behavior continued, "We would be honored if you would be mayor of Toronto" -- a crack at Toronto Mayor Rob Ford.
"I was on my way to my room, I just missed it by 35 floors," he said.
Lopez said he's stopped drinking and hasn't had a drop since the incident.
