'Glee' Star Naya Rivera Loves That Her Fiance 'Wear the Pants'
The actress also reveals what made her say 'yes' to rapper Big Sean's proposal.
Jan. 29, 2014— -- Naya Rivera and Candace Cameron-Bure have similar views on relationships.
"Glee" star opened up about what makes her relationship with her fiancé, rapper Big Sean, work.
"He's so kind to people but also wears the pants in our relationship, which I love," she told Cosmopolitan for Latinas. "We Latinas are very independent and strong, so it's even sweeter that I've found somebody who can let me out of that role for a minute."
Rivera, 26, announced her engagement in October, when she flashed her giant engagement ring on a red carpet.
"I think he's going to be an amazing husband," she added, "And he'll make a great father some day."
She added that right now, she's in a very domestic state of mind. Already thinking about her kids ("They need to be fluent [in Spanish]!" she declared), she's totally focused on building a home.
"Latinas are really great nurturers who are great to our men; we love hard and we love to cook," she said. "The other morning I woke up and was like, 'I need china – this table needs to be set all the time!' Focusing on those things is where I'm at right now."
