Chrissy Teigen Reveals She Gave Herself Fertility Injections During SI Shoot
The supermodel is making her seventh appearance in the swimsuit issue.
— -- Chrissy Teigen looks amazing in Sports Illustrated's latest Swimsuit issue, but the mom-to-be revealed that she was actually undergoing fertility treatments at the time of the photo shoot.
"I was doing IVF during the shoot," she told People at the SI Swimsuit fan event in Miami on Wednesday.
"I was getting my shots and everything in Zanzibar, I had a little medical kit," she explained. "It was hard because you bloat from it, and you bruise...if I hit the wrong area. That’s the kind of things we had to cover with makeup."
It all worked out in the end. Teigen and husband John Legend are expecting their first baby, a girl, in April.
Until then, the supermodel said she's not opposed to posing while pregnant.
"John and I aren’t the kind of people to have photos of ourselves in our house, like embracing the pregnant and naked thing. But if it were for a cool magazine and beautifully done, I would do that," she said.
Teigen, 30, is making her seventh appearance in the magazine, which hit newsstands earlier this week.
